Finally got around to this one after considerable delay. This game is so so sick. Its fun to mess around with different loadouts to see what works for which fights. Every fight is balanced on a razor's edge and one wrong move can mean instant death. Felt really good to scrape by and win, with the tension of not knowing if your limited resources will last still being palpable. That said, the game actually does a few small but welcome things to make the experience more forgiving and approachable (generous save placement and slots, giving you just enough items to scrape by, and a couple other things I won't spoil). I love the game's visual/audio aesthetic and writing as well, oppressive and ominous vibes on point. Overall I had a blast with this one!!!

not gonna lie i struggled a lot with this game, but i enjoyed it overall. the story wasn't amazing but it was interesting enough to keep my interest, but i didn't fully grasp the significance of the ending to be honest, so it didn't hit that hard for me. i wish enemy AI was predicable.

still though, this game has genuine tactical depth and equipment that really changes how you play, which is exceptionally rare in RPGs so i commend this game for that big time. the presentation is also quite good, i was impressed.

i would love to play this but after the opening bit of dialogue there is a "loading error"

if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. i have only tried uninstalling, i am not very computer savvy so i am not sure if there is anything else i should be doing

Delicious fixed encounter resource management rpg tactics and gorgeous presentation... ending was absolutely hype as hell. This was a huge treat, thanks for returning to this game.
